This album continues my cycle of works with Roberto Delgado and the Panama Orchestra, which once again demonstrates its versatility in interpreting various formats: two trumpets, three trombones, orchestra, and Big Band.
It has new songs (Photographs, Emigrants, Today for You), songs with my voice on themes that others recorded before like Mr. Botanical, 1976 (Ismael Miranda), The Barricade, 1983 (Johnny Kenton) and The Beauty of Son, 1977 (Bobby Valentín); the re-recording of songs I made before with other orchestras: in 1975, with Ray Barreto (That is Love) and The Beauty of Sound, 2002 (Bobby Valentín) and as a special bonus, “El Panquelero”, 2018 with Medoro Madera.
The musical arrangements are by Roberto Delgado, Luis "Perico" Ortiz, and Tom Kubis.

Este álbum continúa mi colaboración con Roberto Delgado y su Orquesta. Una vez más, la virtuosidad y versatilidad del grupo se muestra maravillosamente a través de los diferentes formatos musicales que presenta: dos trompetas, tres trombones, sonidos de Orquesta y Big Band.
All the songs are my compositions, originals (Fotografias, Emigrantes, Hoy por ti), my interpretation of songs I wrote for others to sing, Senor Botanico, (1976, Ismael Miranda), La Barricada, (1975 Johnny Kenton), La Belleza del Son (Bobby Valentin, 1977), and a re-recording of Eso es Amar, a song I did with Ray Barreto (1975, Barreto). As a bonus I've added El Panquelero, (Abelardo Barroso, composer), sung by my alter-ego, Medoro Madera.
Los arreglos musicales fueron realizados por Roberto Delgado, Luis "Perico" Ortiz y Tom Kubis. Desde Panamá, presentamos la última grabación de Ruben Blades y la orquesta de Roberto Delgado: "FOTOGRAFIAS".
